The purpose of this case is to show that global studies can enhance the overall academic experience for students, and it does not have to take away from the rigor or comprehensiveness of a standard curriculum. Furthermore, developing an effective global education program requires alignment of vision among key stakeholders in the school as well as attention to curriculum and teacher professional development.
