    A Hearing Teacher's Changing Role in Deaf Education

    The experience of a hearing teacher dedicated to learning and teaching about the deaf community is described. As founder and director of BRIDGES, a program aimed at building connections between the deaf culture and the hearing culture, the hearing teacher was able to determine the strengths and richness of the deaf community.
